Party for a Purpose at The White Party

What better way to raise money (and look chic while doing so) than to party for a purpose at The White Party, benefitting Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation and Jupiter-Tequesta Athletic Associastion (JTAA). On February 17, the 10th rendition of The White Party will be entertaining 500 local professionals, celebrities, and socialites alike in a sea of white. Hosted by local orthodontist and philanthropist, Dr. Scott Meier, The White Party is aiming to raise over $100,000 at Club Meier, Meier's private waterfront residence in Tequesta.

This year, the event is serving up the best in bites, beverages, and entertainment for party goers. The lavish lineup includes a food village offering Lynora's, Hog Snappers, Bolay, Salute Market, The Cooper, Big Apple Pizza, and Stadium Grill. Drinks will be flowing all evening compliments of Perfect Vodka, Tequesta Brewing Company, Twisted Trunk Brewing, and Pumphouse Coffee Roasters. Guests will enjoy live music and dancing as they meet and mingle, and sip and socialize. Performances include Joe Bachman and The Party (who've shared a stage with Miranda Lambert and Florida Georgia Line), and the Violinist Group, Sons of Mystro who play alongside DJ, Matt PaneGasser.

Silent auction and raffle prizes will contribute to the event's overall fundraising goal, and a designated VIP tent will feature hors d'oeuvres by Hampton Forks, a private bar, and other party perks. This event is definitely not to be missed! Join the editors of Palm Beach Social Diary and party for a purpose with us on February 17! The White Party is expected to sell out (VIP is already sold out!), so it's recommended to purchase tickets ASAP. Jack and Barbara Nicklaus founded the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation in 2004, in an effort to provide families access to world-class pediatric health care in their own communities. Collaborating with Nicklaus Children's Hospital and pediatric hospitals across the county, the Foundation has made a tremendous impact by supporting innovative programs focused on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of childhood illnesses.

The JTAA was founded in 1967 providing youth sports programs to over 6500 families in Northern Palm Beach County. The organization offers athletic activities to local children and strives to help all participants develop strong, healthy bodies and minds; the highest type of sportsmanship, understanding of and respect for the rules; courage in defeat, modesty in victory, and become good citizens.
