The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2018 black-tie gala, WILD, at The Breakers Palm Beach drew 500 guests, selling out one of the most talked about events of the season. Supporters were wined, dined, and entertained among the sights and wonders of a sultry savanna while raising $832,000 to support LLS’s mission to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life for patients and families in Palm Beach County.
Gala Chairmen Carissa & Nicholas Coniglio, Host Committee Chairmen Cameron & Jeff Preston and Tricia & Richard Rendina, and Junior Chairmen Allegra & Calixto Garcia-Velez IV ensured every moment of the event was a feast for the eyes and appetites. Painted animal models posed with guests for photos during cocktail hour, and the ballroom was decked with wild game prints and greenery creating a high-end safari feel for the gourmet dinner and live music by “The Clique” and DJ Nick Flash that followed.
Supporters who brought an untamable enthusiasm for the event included Grand Benefactor Lighthouse Partners, Janice & Peter Brock, Ethel & Bernie Garil, Jennifer & Christopher Harris, Erin & Sean McGould, Tommy Morrison, Whitney & Scott Perkins, Marjorie Rendina, and Lauree & Robert Simmons.
